What does this page actually explain?
This page describes only what the underlying build of this site does with visit data. It does not describe general practice or intention beyond that build. Where a mechanism is listed below, it is because the site's construction supports it; nothing else should be assumed.
- This site is a set of static files served from a content delivery network, which handles the technical details of each request as the hosting provider.
- Every file a page needs comes from this domain, so no outside host receives data while a page is being viewed.
What visit data does this site record, and why?
A small amount of visit data is collected, but only when a visitor arrives from a search engine. This is a first-party visit beacon: it notes the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine, and, if applicable, the text of a clicked outbound button.
- What triggers it: arriving from a search engine, or clicking an outbound button afterward.
- What it is used for: counting page views and outbound button clicks, for this site's own traffic totals only.
- How long it lasts: a single session view flag is kept in the browser so one page view is counted once per session; no persistent identifier is set.
- What it means for the reader: nothing tied to an individual is stored, and no browser storage beyond this session flag exists.
What happens when an outbound link is followed?
Some links point to partner sites. Technically, this works as a first-party outbound redirect: the link first goes to a path on this domain, then redirects to the partner site.
- This site does not share any stored visitor data with the partner during that redirect.
- Once the partner site is reached, that site receives the request directly from the visitor's browser and keeps its own separate record of it.
- This site has no control over, and makes no claim about, the privacy practices of any partner site reached through an outbound link.
What does this site not do?
Several things are confirmed absent from this site's build, and these absences are the reason no consent request, account, or personal detail is ever asked for here.
- No forms: there is nowhere on this site to type in or submit personal information.
- No third-party analytics: visit counting stays first-party, as described above, and is not shared with outside analytics services, advertising networks, or data brokers.
- No external subresources: pages are self-contained, with locally embedded fonts, so no outside host is contacted while a page loads.
- No contact channels: this site does not offer a way to reach anyone directly, so no personal detail should be submitted to it.
- No cookies and no persistent identifier: only the single session view flag described above is used, and it does not persist.
